I have a sensitive stomach and most iron supplements make me nauseous. My doctor recommended Pure Encapsulations Iron-C because it has vitamin C built in for better absorption. I have been taking it for about six weeks now with zero stomach issues. My ferritin levels went from 22 to 38 in that time. The capsules are easy to swallow and do not have any weird aftertaste. The bottle arrived sealed and well-packaged. Photo attached shows it on my kitchen counter where I keep it next to my morning vitamins.

After my last blood test showed low iron, my hematologist specifically said to get Pure Encapsulations Iron-C. She said the quality and bioavailability are better than most drugstore brands. Three months in and my energy levels are noticeably better. I used to need a nap by 2pm and now I make it through the day. The price is higher than Nature Made but you get what you pay for.

The supplement itself seems fine — no stomach upset and I have not noticed any negative side effects. However my order took 8 days to arrive when it said 2-3 day shipping. The bottle was a little dented but the seal inside was intact. I would buy the product again but hopefully shipping is faster next time.
